Collection, processing and use of personal data

Protecting your information matters to us. You can visit our online shop without providing personal details. We store only anonymized access data, such as your internet provider, the referring page, requested file names and an anonymized IP address. Cookies may be used to collect anonymous or pseudonymous data that cannot be linked to you personally.

We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily during an order, account creation or newsletter registration. We use it to fulfill the contract. After completion, the data is restricted and deleted once applicable tax and commercial retention periods expire, unless you have expressly agreed to further use. If you subscribe to our monthly newsletter, we use your email address for our own marketing until you unsubscribe.

Data security (SSL encryption)

Personal data is transmitted to us in encrypted form. We use HTTPS and encryption such as SSL and apply technical measures to protect our websites against damage, destruction and unauthorized access.

Server data

For technical reasons, the server records browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, date and time of access and IP address in server log files.

These records are stored separately from any personal information you provide, on our hosting server, and may be analyzed statistically to improve the server and website.

Cookies

We use cookies, small text files transferred by a web server to your device. They may provide information about your IP address, browser, operating system and internet connection. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses or other malware to a computer.

You can prevent cookies in your browser settings or through the cookie notice on your first visit. If you do, some website features may not be available.

Matomo web analytics (formerly Piwik)

Our website uses Matomo, open-source analytics software that evaluates visitor activity. Matomo uses cookies to analyze how the website is used. Information generated by the cookie is stored exclusively on our server. IP addresses are recorded only in anonymized form by deleting or replacing the last octet with zero.

You can choose whether your browser permits a unique analytics cookie to be stored so the website operator can collect and evaluate usage statistics.
